Shaun McGill from PDA24/7 has written a thought provoking and reasonable editorial on the user of digital readers and how much paper they would save. He goes on to criticize book publishers for not embracing the technology and offer it as a choice. For example, Shaun asks the questions, how many trees where cut down to sell the latest Harry Potter book. You can read the editorial here and join the movement to get publishers up to date on technology.

WHAT OUR USERS ARE SAYING:

“I’ve been using this program since the fall of 2004 to keep track of sales, workouts, miles run, and my weight to name a few. What a great tool to use to focus on important numbers in your life. I’m in it a few times every day.”

     — Larry on PalmGear.com

“…I tested four different programs….I found the others to be too hard to operate on a day to day basis. Traxitall is fast and simple to set up, and it only takes minutes a day to maintain.”

     — Barry in England on TraxItAll.com

“I downloaded several programs of a medical nature and found them to be too elaborate for my purpose. Yours fit exactly what needed to track.”

     — Dave in California on TraxItAll.com

“An excellent, versatile, MUST have tool for anyone tracking anything. Well worth the money… and more. Thank you!!!”

     — Dave in Michigan on TraxItAll.com

“…Great program – it’s simple enough to allow easy use but powerful enough with the reports to keep me motivated!!!”

     — Jim on PalmGear.com

“… I’m using it to track my billable hours goal, and besides the raw numbers, I can see the percentage above or below my goal that I am for the day, week, month, quarter, year. This is a wonderful motivator….”

Shaun McGill a well known writer in the mobile world has written a wonderful book name My Digital Generation about his generation and technology. You will no doubt find and learn something of yourself when you read it.

The first three legit comments (as determined by me) about this book or Shaun McGill will receive a free copy of Smart Box Design’s game Triples for Palm OS.

Here is an excerpt from the book: “When I was very young we used to have an outside toilet and I remember being scared that a big spider or rat would come and visit while I was taking care of business yet at no time did I think it odd that the toilet was in the garden. My brother and I used to have our baths in the kitchen sink and again it all seemed perfectly normal. We used to play in the street because there were hardly any cars and when the man who lived a few doors down picked up the local children to let them sit in the back of his open bed truck while he drove down the hill no one shouted “paedophile!” at him…” “…I remember snow very vividly and being able to build a Dad sized snowman and then roll his head down the hill just before the global warming melted him- in those days global warming was called the Sun…”
